TOPTRONIC® · Long Project Configurator · Build 026
One file for every long project you run. Fully offline.
TLPC is the Windows desktop app that gathers everything a project needs — its .tlpc.json file, reusable templates, model and IDE profiles, rules — into one portable workspace. Define a project once and reuse it in every session. No accounts, no cloud, no telemetry. Runs from a USB stick.
- 🔒 No network at runtime
- 📦 Local JSON only
- 🧯 No MCP servers
Windows 10 & 11 · Runs from a USB stick · Plain JSON, yours to keep
Project: Solar Controller Firmware ● loaded
Templates: 12 reusable setups
Resources: Model + IDE profiles
Status: ● Offline mode — no network calls
Built on a proven foundation
TLPC inherits the same Rust + egui desktop stack TPEE has shipped through 180+ builds. It is in active development today (build 026), not a placeholder.
- ✅ Proven stack — the foundation TPEE has hardened over 180+ builds
- ✅ In development, not abandoned — active builds shipping now
- ✅ Reuses what you know — copies TPEE's profile data by copy-and-adapt
What it is
A home for every long project you run.
TLPC takes everything a project needs — its defining .tlpc.json file, reusable templates, model and IDE profiles, learning material and your own rules — and keeps it together in one local workspace you can open, edit and carry. Your projects become portable files you own outright, not records trapped in someone's cloud.
One file per project, in your hands
Every project is a single, human-readable .tlpc.json file. Open it in any editor, back it up, hand it to a teammate. No proprietary database to migrate out of later.
Start every new project from a known-good baseline
Save a proven setup as a template and re-import it into a new project, so every job starts from configuration you already know works.
The profiles you rely on, always available
Keep the model profiles, IDE profiles and reference tables you depend on as local, offline data. Always present, never fetched, never behind a login.
Ramp up a new teammate in an afternoon
A lesson browser brings new members up to speed on configuring and maintaining long projects the Toptronic® way, so onboarding stops being tribal knowledge.
Your workspace follows you
General settings and themes persist to a local preferences file. Set it up once, then carry the same setup across sessions and machines on a USB stick.
Keep your team's configuration consistent
Open the project rules folder and edit your rules from inside the app, so every project your team configures stays consistent no matter who runs the file.
Security & privacy
Strictly offline, by design.
TLPC follows the same firm policy as its sister product: it makes no outbound network calls at runtime and connects to no external service. Your projects never leave your machine, because there is nothing to send them with.
No network at runtime
No HTTP clients, no async runtimes, no telemetry. The app never makes a call out.
Local files only
All persistence is local JSON — tlpc_preferences.json and your project files. You can read every byte yourself.
No MCP servers
External MCP tooling is never connected; it appears only as documentation. There is no hidden surface to leak through.
Sister to TPEE
TPEE writes the prompts. TLPC configures the projects.
TPEE, the Toptronic® Prompt Engineering Editor, shapes every prompt into the 12 proven sections LLMs need. TLPC is its sibling: it configures and manages the projects those prompts are used in. Together they cover the whole lifecycle, from designing a prompt to organizing the projects that use it, all offline.
- Same proven stack as TPEE (Rust + egui), hardened over 180+ builds.
- Reuses TPEE's model and IDE profile data by copy-and-adapt; never modifies it.
- One workflow: write in TPEE, configure and run in TLPC.
TPEE + TLPC
TPEE — the prompt editor: 12 sections, scored 0–100, exported to 20+ IDEs.
TLPC — the project configurator: projects, templates, resources, rules.
offline · local-first · zero network calls
Who it's for
If you run more than one long project, this is for you.
Prompt engineers juggling many setups
Stop re-creating the same configuration in every session. Keep each project's full setup in one file you can reopen instantly.
Developers who want plain, portable files
Projects as versionable JSON files you own — not data trapped in a service you have to log into.
Teams that need everyone on the same setup
Consistent project configuration without another SaaS login or admin console to manage.
One file per project. Everywhere you take it. Nothing to sign in to, nothing that leaves the machine.
Run every project from one place. First on your machine when it ships.
